Rules Of Crypted Haven

1. When Creating a username make sure it is YOUR CHARACTERS NAME no numbers or symbols.
2. Be polite harassment will not be tolerated.
3. This site is not PG however please try to keep the adult themes to a minimum.
4. No God-Modding (controlling others' characters without their permission.)

Please remember the site is fairly new and things will be updated regularly and there may be some changes with the site.

This is called a Cellphone, (also called a mobile, cellular or a cell, )muggles use it to communicate instantly by typing into the device a code of numbers that is specific to each cellphone to contact another person. Hand held devices were first invented in the 1940's
They type in the number and press the call button and can instantly talk to another person if they answer the phone by also pressing the call button, if they do not answer however they can leave a message that can be played back at any time.
One benefit of a cell phone is most muggles take them everywhere and always have them, instead of having an owl try to find them to deliver a letter.
Another mode of communication through the cell phone is a text message. A text message is a letter that is typed on a phone and sent to another phone by the code again and the receiving party will get it instantly.


HOMEWORK
1. Name 2 types of communication through the cell phone.
2. List 2 other names for this device.
3. Name one benefit to this device.
4. When were handheld devices first invented[/list]

Cass walked into the class as her usual peppy self. She glanced at the board, noting that the lesson seemed fairly easy, yet still pretty interesting. She sat down at her usual spot and began to quickly jot down the lesson in as little words as possible.
